The last week of the mission

Some of the great sunsets.
One of the big cow lots in the area.

Well this week has been great! We had a guy named Tony to church that we have been working slowly with for the last 2 months. He loved church and plans on conference this week. The way that we ran into this guy was he was a friend of a less-active member and they started taking about the church and he had us over. We didn't talk to tony about the church at first but we became his friend and the church just made its way into one of our talks. Now he is planning on being baptized in a few weeks.

P.S. The reason that I am writing this on Wednesday is that we will probably be in Lincoln for a meeting tomorrow.

  • I must admit that I was surprised to see that you posted today. You aren't counting down are you?..1 week and 1 day and 10 hours and 47 minutes (just kidding I don't know for sure if that count is accurate).
Great pictures, you are going to miss those sunsets in So Cal.

  • Yay for Tony! How wonderful for you. Wish I could have left my mission on a positive note like that. My last week sucked. Ahh, well. Plenty of good ones to reflect on, too.

  • We have really enjoyed being able to see you in pictures (although very few of you) and see how you have changed. We love to hear about the mission. We are looking forward to seeing you soon. Glad you have had a really good next to the last week. We hope this week is just as good. We love you and are so proud of the work you have done. Love, Grandma

  • How great that Tony has a friend who is already a member. Did the friend come to church, too? I hope Tony enjoys hearing the prophet speak.
Live up your last week. Its the last time you get to wear the tag for a long time!
